Hello!

When I was a little girl I was always fascinated with beauty, hair textures, and the endless possibilities of what we could do to beautify ourselves. One day, at just 5-years old I was playing "barber shop" with one of my friends. She was just 3-years old, and was sitting in my little wooden rocking chair. I was standing behind the chair pretending to cut her hair with my little plastic scissors. I soon noticed something, and said to her "these scissors aren't working, I'm going to get some more." She said, "OK." I returned with some real scissors and cut her 6-8 inch long ponytail off at the ponytail holder. Then I remember not being able to attach it back to her hair. Next I remember her mother crying, and my mother asking me why I would do that. I didn't know until I had cut it off that i couldn't put it back. Well, long story short because of the loving and understanding way that my mother handled the situation, I knew that I wanted to be a hairdresser someday. So when I was a junior in high school, I took up Cosmetology my junior and senior years. I passed my cosmetology exam my senior year and became a licensed cosmetologist. I have been at it ever since.
